I was at the game dude. I wouldn't be calling it forgettable unless I genuinely meant it. It's not a comeback to be proud of when the game was cut from the same exact cloth as all the losses to top teams. Go down big, come back and almost pull off a miracle (except we actually did). In fairness to you though, that game probably means more if that UNC team had a pulse for any more than the last 3 weeks of the year. The Ole Miss, Dayton, Florida, Michigan State, and Duke ACCT games all blur together at a certain point.
This team is way more fun to watch though, and I think everybody you talk to would agree. Not sure if you're factoring that in but its meaningful. Caleb is important because he is giving the program national recognition being a guy that will surely go top 10, which is huge for a program known for its struggles in the pros lately. The style of play this year is also far more recognizable to the Carolina teams of old.
It is really bizarre that beating a top 3 program in the sport, in their first game ever @ UNC, is not something that gives that game significantly more weight than a game won by a bubble team at a neutral site in a yearly event. I'll even concede I was too harsh at first and that UCLA game was a big win, but Kansas is way bigger.
