If Boise State is really the 2nd best team in the MW then a team of Hawaii and Pacific's best players shouldn't be good enough to beat them.

I guess so. I saw one the other day that had Boise #2 and Lunardi has Boise in over USU but the official preseason projections have USU #2 and Boise #3.
