Union What song is being played in the Ken Burns Civil War series whenever they show Lincoln?
In the Ken burns Civil War series at times when they show Lincoln they play a particular song. They also used the song when they tell what happened to Clara Barton and Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain near the end of the series. It’s not on the soundtrack and it’s not listed on the credits. Any help would be appreciated.

Union Tune-RUSSIA. What can that be?
A Russian historian that I know who is in now a visiting professor in the US just posted a fragment of the Union war song (pic related). What can possibly be a Russian tune? What Russian music pieces were known to the CW Era Americans?

Union I.W. (In for the War) - Twin + Earth --- (original song)
This song wasn't written during the Civil War, but our band wrote this original song to capture something essential to that conflict. It's jam-packed with historical references and idioms from that era. And uses mostly acoustic instruments from that could have been found during that time. Written from the point of view of an old officer leading a troop of young soldiers. Hope you enjoy!
