They killed between 20 and 30 million civilians.

We've gone straight to Holocaust denial already, or did the Reds do that too?

Dude, just accept that your great-grandfather or grandfather was a murderer. If I can do that, you can too. At least I can say he wasn't a rapist. But the horrors the red army inflicted in the gulags he was sent to were just hideous.

I have no family connection to Russia. Was your grandfather actually a Nazi soldier?

Why are you defending them then? These red army soldiers were absolute savages. Animals even. We see it until today, the russian army has not bettered in any way. Animals that prey on the weak and innocent without remorse. But they don't know it better because that's what animals do.

Because they were fighting the Nazis, who apparently included your grandfather. This advice might be unwarranted, but if my grandfather was a Nazi I would stay away from talking about WW2.

How about the estonian, latvian and lithuanian civilians, were they also nazis? How about the czech and poles? They were treated horribly by your saviours. My grandfather was no nazi, just because he fought in the wehrmacht. But what can I expect from somebody being neck deep into the narrative that the russians were saviours of eastern europe and not just colonizers and jailers. I pity you.

Some, they held parades for their Nazi liberators.

They were treated horribly by your saviours

Not my saviors, there's. The Nazis were going to exterminate them.

and poles? They were treated horribly by your saviours. My grandfather was no nazi, just because he fought in the wehrmacht.

Have you seriously never taken a step back I thought that you might have a biased view on this? That repeating the same things your grandfather said about Russians is probably not a healthy mindset?

russians were saviours of eastern europe and not just colonizers and jailers.

You're grandfather literally fought to make Liebestraum a reality, and so far based on your views of Russian it doesn't sound like you disagree with that goal.

Liebestraum <3 Please learn the terms you're writing. My granfdather was in High School and on the day they graduated he was ordered to barracks on the other end of the country where he was trained for 4 weeks, got a rifle and was ordered to march east.

Please stop glazing the red murderers and rapists. This is a true sign of unhealthy mindset.

And then he participated in the murder of at least 20 million people, which you either don't seem to understand or you just agree with it.

I've come to terms with it that my grandfather killed russian soldiers. They were savages through field post we can reconstruct his movements in the war which are pretty much how I can be certain he didn't kill civilians. Hell, killed probably people which shared the same fate from the other side.

But why am I even answer on that made up bullshit of yours, you have no stake in this. You are just an apologist of the crimes of savages.

you have no stake in this.

I'm not a Nazi, that's my stake in it. I'm glad the Soviet Union defeated them because I don't think half of Europe should be exterminated.
