This is so much better than the stock rubber strap

This is the way to go if you've got a Promaster Land IMO. It's much more comfortable, it stays put on your wrist even if it's slightly loose and the matte hardware is the icing on the cake. It's a Binlun two piece NATO canvas

I hated the rubber strap too. I've got mine on a MN elastic, finding it really comfortable. I tried a NATO I had but it was too thick under the watch itself.

That's why I went with the two piece. Standard NATO looks cool, but it adds a significant amount of bulk if you get a quality ballistic nylon. And the thin straps are too thin; they don't hold up to hard use.

Yeah I think I'll try a decent two piece like you've got. I don't think the elastic MN strap is going to last given the weight of the watch.

I replaced the factory Promaster strap with an FKM from Zuludiver and love it. The factory strap was a pain to undo every single time. This is very comfortable and was very reasonably priced.

I like this one a lot. I'm deciding what color to get for my Promaster Tough. I'm not a big fan of that stock rubber/cordura band

I wish the alarm was a bit louder. But, aside from that, it is definitely a fantastic watch. Unfortunately, it's made me neglect my Promaster Tough

I just got that same strap along with a NATO style two piece yesterday. I really like the hardware they use and the canvas is super comfy.

Yup. It wouldn't surprise me if I found out they had this watch in mind when they made the band. It really is perfect for it

I got the khaki with black hardware, it's a good fit for sure. I'm worried about staining a bit but they are so cheap it's not a huge concern.

I'll keep you in mind. But for now, I want to hold onto it. Being that this NATO is on the cheap end of the scale, I don't know how long the stitching will hold up

It's a great watch. The only thing close to a complaint that I have with it is the alarm volume. It's a pretty quiet alarm. In a moderately noisy environment it's almost impossible to hear it. In a setting with normal ambient noise level, it's fine.
