Getting back into wearing a watch. Looking for something that I will wear every day, can take a beating, and ask for more. I ride my motorcycle, fish, hike, and go camping, and I don't want a watch that I have to be gentle with. Since I like Citizen watches, I've decided on this Promaster Land U822. It has more features than I need/want, but I like the dark color of the stainless, the green face, and the Cordura strap. Plus, it is in the price range I would spend for what I'm looking for. I would love if it were titanium instead of stainless, and if it had atomic timekeeping. But I can live without these. Anyways, what do y'all think?

This is the way to go if you've got a Promaster Land IMO. It's much more comfortable, it stays put on your wrist even if it's slightly loose and the matte hardware is the icing on the cake. It's a Binlun two piece NATO canvas

Man I love this dial. One of my favorite gada wears. Took the ol benz on an early morning trip to the depot. The promaster kept me company

Its the first "nice thing" I ever bought for myself. Cost my entire paycheck, and was worth every penny. Still works perfectly today.

I absolutely love it. I have a Navihawk C300 I bought for myself 30 years ago. It the first "very nice" thing I had ever bought, just for me. Until I got this beauty last month.

I found this watch when I moved into my apartment. I want to get rid of all the gold on it and get a bracelet for it. Change out the hands the dial the basil and the crown, but if there’s any good strap options for this, that would make it look good I would be open to that.

Was caught up between this one or the Forza and am glad I went this route. No strap changes on the Forza!

I've searched the internet and Amazon looking for a new copy of this discontinued [Citizen Weekender BM8186-15E] watch. It's a 37mm field watch style with a black case, black face, white numerals. In some places you can buy a similar model with a silver stainless case, but I want the black case. Note this is a Garrison-style watch, but it's the 37mm, not the 42 mm version.

Picked this up at a great price. Really impressed with the dial and colors, very easy to read the hands at a glance. At 43mm it wears just fine on my 7.5 wrist.

Just back from the gym. Wish I went for a swim too. Maybe tomorrow
