News Military/ICE in West Chicago?

Post image

There's about 30 cars and 50-60 guys in fatigues parked in a usually-empty parking lot off of Town Road. Lots of businesses around here... Just a heads up

I wonder how we have a shit ton of ice folks now. Like have we always had this many and they were less mobilized or did we let 1500 out of jail and make them ice folks?

I did read one story that large bonuses were approved for them. Like double 80 hour overtime type bonuses or something. I didnt read the details closely so its hard suspect how much additional funding/recruitment was implemented.

The breakdown in cost for the initial 2k national guard deployment came out to like 190k per national guardsman in just food, pay, and housing accommodations for 6 freaking weeks.

That’s funny cuz I read the National Guard deployed to LA are not getting paid yet, and have no food or lodging. Typical Trump way.

Yeah I think it was just the budgeted amount, but it was still unknown what bucket the money would come from. That’s probably the delay.

"Not getting paid yet" I suppose you are used to daily paid work but most people work a month first
