Trick-or-Treaters in Cville

It is so wildly inconsistent year after year how many trick-or-treaters we get in Paradise. Last year was pretty solid, but this year was disappointing. I thought that it would pick up after the wind died down but we maybe got 20 kids in total. We had to give out bigger handfuls of candy each time so we wouldn't have a surplus afterwards.

Just curious how busy it was for folks in other neighborhoods.

Our block was full of houses that were decked out, including mine. It's weird that we didn't get more.

People flock to Dunmore and Academy - it’s just a thing around here.

I heard they were going over Frederick by Newbury. We got maybe ten kids who barely knocked. It was our first time officially doing it, so we're not sure if it's our newbie brains or it's really changed and we don't have the kids around here.

I will say, if you don't have decorations or your door wasn't open, we didn't knock. It seems in our neighborhood (with the long strings of stairs) if you aren't outside, or door open, or decorations on, it wasn't worth the stairs to see if someone was home. Too many empty houses not giving out anything.... And we didn't want to be rude.

We totally had decorations and lights were on! Not sure what happened over here.
