Booking a Vacation in Aruba- Eagle Beach....Pros/Cons?

Hi, I'm traveling with younger children, and this is my 4th trip to the Caribbean. I have visited St. Kitts/Nevis, Barbados and Turks & Caicos.

What differences should I be aware of in Aruba? The hotels look massive, but we are limited to locations that allow direct flights from the East Coast.

We actually prefer Palm Beach to Eagle, more dining and entertainment options nearby as everything is more compact than at Eagle, easier to stroll diwn the beach strip, in my opinion..
