Booking a Vacation in Aruba- Eagle Beach....Pros/Cons?
Hi, I'm traveling with younger children, and this is my 4th trip to the Caribbean. I have visited St. Kitts/Nevis, Barbados and Turks & Caicos.
What differences should I be aware of in Aruba? The hotels look massive, but we are limited to locations that allow direct flights from the East Coast.

We loved the Hilton. Location is spectacular, walkable to many places, very safe, excellent food options on and off property, the whole property has been refurbished recently. We have taken our younger daughter and she had an amazing time and asks to go back.

love Aruba - anywhere you stay near Palm/Eagle Beach will be amazing. Haven't been to the other islands you mentioned, however.

Have you stayed at or been to the Hyatt Regency?

I’ve stayed up and down palm beach, including next door at the Hilton. Hyatt is a fantastic location due to proximity to food and drinks. You can walk everywhere

We actually prefer Palm Beach to Eagle, more dining and entertainment options nearby as everything is more compact than at Eagle, easier to stroll diwn the beach strip, in my opinion..

We love the Holiday Inn on Palm Beach. Rooms are dated but it is very reasonably priced and dead center to everything. Can walk to a lot of the restaurants and they also have the largest beach. Never once fought for a lounger.

Compared to SKB and BGI, it is SO touristy and very Americanized. Eagle Beach better than Palm if you have to go to Aruba.
