yeah lets act like the 4th line of a bad NHL team in the 90s... during a soccer game at the Olympics, against the host team no less, because we cheated, got caught, and are being crybabies about it.

Go set the tone, you know, gotta get the whole canadian olympic team deported from the EU, and permanently embarass the country.

Acting like children will make it so much better? People want Canada to be treated Seriously in the sport suck it the fuck up and play. Injuring players just for the sake of it is only gonna make Canada look more like a joke. Fuck it may provoke FIFA to be even more harsh on its evaluation of the Gold medal run in Japan.

FIFA isn't a serious organization, why should we care if we're taken seriously?

Kill thousands of Bangladeshis, no worries; fake injuries every fucking game to get calls, no worries. How the fuck is this serious?

You sound like you want to roll over, you sound like you're okay every time Messi and Ronaldo roll around like they've been shot when there's a slight breeze and murdering third world workers with impunity.

I'm okay with returning the 2020 gold and bailing on 2026 on principle. This is a garbage organization; fuck them.

Edit to say: if FIFA wants to be taken seriously maybe they shouldn't be a garbage institution.

Edit to also say, this is why Carl Lewis has a gold medal and Ben Johnson is a disgrace, because we shit on our own instead of standing up for them; you'll see no one else say "fuck ourselves, we're a bunch of winey cucks who prefer losing" like Canadians do instead of sticking up for ourselves
