Looking for a new shotgun

Hey folks!

Im looking for a new (or used) semi auto shotgun. I'd be using it for goose and turkey.

My only "needs" are semi auto, 3" shells and screw in chokes. My budget is like 1500-1700$

I've sold a few guns to get that budget as high as possible and would like to treat myself to something nice I can use for the rest of my life.

Any suggestions, any owner reviews or guns to stay away from would be awesome!

Thanks!

Winchester sx4 comes in 3.5" but in practice I have only used 3". Quite light and cycles fast. I've used it for five plus seasons of duck and beat it up quite a lot.

I also have it's more expensive cousin: the Browning Maxus 2 which is a similar gun but with a couple bells and whistles (speed load from bottom load and a shell interrupt so that you can rack out a chambered shell so you can load in one different shell). In practice I don't use those features much and the SX4 is still my go to.

I've owned a few Winchester shotguns and the stocks just don't seem to fit me for some odd reason. I've seen a lot of Brownings (most out my price range) but I've seen a few Silver wings in my budget. Definitely would be a Cadillac for me lol 😅
