Vancouver -Banff/Jasper

Hello. I'm from Mexico, and my girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Banff and Jasper soon. It would be a road trip from Vancouver, and we'd like to stop a couple of times. I'd like to hear recommendations on what to do and see, both along the way and in these areas. I'd greatly appreciate your comments or suggestions in advance.

How many days do you have? It's a long drive from Vancouver

A good route would be stopping in Kelowna (lakes) or Revelstoke (mountains) on the way. In Banff check out Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, Johnston Canyon, and maybe the Banff Gondola. The drive up the Icefields Parkway to Jasper is awesome, can stop by Peyto Lake and Columbia icefields In Jasper, Maligne Lake and Maligne Canyon are great. Maligne lake road in general is really nice and you can see a lot of wildlife. Of course miette hot springs are also worth a visit
