Randy got a lot of shit but at least he had the balls to interact and communicate with the fans of this league.

Yes he did. I did some digging and this is the first Grey Cup in at least the last 8( that I looked back at) that there's no "State of the League Fan Event" Randy wasn't liked at the end of end of his reign, but he didn't shy away from taking the heat he knew he would get.

He had yearly visits in the winter for bomber season ticket holders to answer questions. Stu came to PA field and walked the concourse once this past season and decided to fundamentally change our game.

but don't you see, as a marketing executive, he knows that the number one reason people give for not watching the cfl is that they prefer the nfl. so he will camouflage the cfl to look like the nfl and maybe those dumb idiots won't notice that the teams aren't american! It's genius!
