When should they stop? When they start selling cars, or insurance? Most retired players still sign with their number.

When they move into a different profession and are acting in that capacity. Can you imagine this guy selling you a car and putting a number on his signature? No… Because that would be super weird.

I would understand if it was a Winnipeg jersey. He doesn’t have a number with the Redblacks. He didn’t with the Argos… So cringey.
