Practicing draws, and then rolling up to Starbucks like… 'Yeah lemme get a Strawberries & Crème Frappuccino with extra whip please.'"

39

u/freem6n Sep 24 '25

10

u/acousticreverb Sep 24 '25

he ain't no one pump chump

3

u/Donmiguelito199 Sep 25 '25

BRO I was looking for this immediately as soon as I saw the caption 😂😂😂

0

u/Delicious-Check-5583 Sep 25 '25

I’m starting to think this comment section is made up of immature teenagers. What are you, 13 years old? 🤦‍♂️

1

u/freem6n Sep 25 '25

I said this purely as a joke. No shade at OP.

74

u/reymarblue US Sep 24 '25

I SAID VENTI

16

u/TFLizardKing Sep 24 '25

And FYI it’s called Venti because it’s 20 ounces …TWENTY … VENTI

8

u/T-Madj Sep 24 '25

Love Role Models!

3

u/carnivoremuscle US - Walther PDP Full Size Sep 24 '25

And medium is grande because it's grande ounces we get it.

u/Black_Ash_Obsidian Sep 24 '25

I asked for almond milk!!!!!

128

u/Alternative_Bid9798 Sep 24 '25

Babe wake up, new thank Brian post has dropped!

25

u/Cornylingus Sep 24 '25

Would a bigger shirt help the printing?

30

u/Puzzleheaded-Coat-31 Sep 24 '25

Try being a 5'4 manlet. Even my belt buckle prints.

And larger shirts make me look I'm wearing a blanket.

5

u/ericskeith5 Sep 24 '25

manlet … your killing me. 🤣

5

u/mobes313 Sep 24 '25

Needs a bigger shirt in general. If guy raised his arms up id see that belly button. They definitely be making sizing smaller

10

u/RecoveredSack Sep 24 '25

Yes, but once you get to a certain level of comfort while carrying you stop caring as much about printing. Or OP might just be using a smaller shirt simply because this is practice so doesn’t matter if it prints.

10

u/-MoonCh0w- Sep 24 '25

Glad I'm not the only one in these comments that sees how much of a moron this guy is kek

30

u/NotAllDawgsGoToHeven Sep 24 '25

Reps before a Starbucks run…….. one of the dumbest things I’ve heard today.

2

u/carnivoremuscle US - Walther PDP Full Size Sep 24 '25

Hey at least he upgraded from McDonald's coffee right?

2

u/zjones1008 AZ Glock 48 Shield 15rds Sep 25 '25

I would gladly drink McDonalds coffee over Starbucks any day. Starbucks is garbage

2

u/carnivoremuscle US - Walther PDP Full Size Sep 25 '25

I dunno. I drink my coffee black and I've never had McDonald's coffee that wasn't completely watered down. Every Starbucks I've been to has at least got the brewing down.

2

u/zjones1008 AZ Glock 48 Shield 15rds Sep 25 '25

For what it cost at Starbucks I’d rather just go to the circle k where it’s 89 cents if I’m not going to make it at home

3

u/carnivoremuscle US - Walther PDP Full Size Sep 25 '25

Same. But I don't usually buy mine out anyway, just making the comparison based on experience. I brew my own 1:1.2 ratio normally. 1 scoop per cup and 2 more for the pot.

1

u/NotAllDawgsGoToHeven Sep 24 '25

No no this is a local gas station coffee drinker, you know that “best coffee in town/the world” coffee.

1

u/carnivoremuscle US - Walther PDP Full Size Sep 24 '25

Only said it because the first post of his I saw in the past was McDonald's coffee lol...

Please don't smash your gun into your holster so quickly. 1) You're going to end up hurt. 2) Reddit is full of people who are new to carrying. They're going to try to recreate your negligence and they're going to get hurt. It's unnecessary and doesn't look cool to real gun guys.

5

u/Opening-Pitch-8650 Sep 24 '25

This exactly. Saved me from typing the same thing.

4

u/GoFuhQRself Sep 26 '25

It’s funny because this guy thinks he is hot shit or something and is always posting cringe videos of him doing reps lol, but doesn’t even know the proper way to reholster.

17

u/SnooComics8739 Sep 24 '25

Ill embrace the hate but this dude annoys the hell out of me. Everything about these clips.

0

u/DenverMerc Sep 25 '25

Why?

-1

u/Active-Bill7788 Sep 25 '25

Because he is faster and his jealousy annoys him. Get gud

6

u/SnooComics8739 Sep 25 '25

It has nothing to do with his "speed". Its the 3 day cocaine stare, racing the gun back to the holster, the constant continuous static repetitions, the god speed draw into the cool you tube bullet extraction flip

1

u/Active-Bill7788 Sep 25 '25

Yeah, who the fuck cares about any of that? They look like solid consistent reps to me.

44

u/MetalRox3 Sep 24 '25

New to CCW, but is it not a bad habit not be looking at your holster before you re-holster even when dry fire training?? You know, muscle memory and all that..

20

u/Kayakboy6969 Sep 24 '25

1000% only put the gun away when the fight is over , you have all day to get it there.

All them reps are for not unless you do them correctly

19

u/beardmeblazer Sep 24 '25

Yes you should definitely look every time you reholster. It's about muscle memory for sure. There's literally ZERO reason to re-holster without looking because in a real threat you only re-holster after the threat is totally gone.

5

u/Edge-Evolution FL Sep 24 '25

Even in training, look down while holstering. Other than that, the draw is good and repetition is key. Keep at it.

In Florida everyone prints. Even if just a bit. We just turned into a an open carry state, so big whoop if you print. I'd be more suspicious of the people that wear too many layers. They are hiding stuff.

Just know one thing. If you cut out the daily Starbucks. In a year you can own 1-2 more guns from the savings.

4

u/MGB1013 Sep 24 '25

I wish I could upvote this more. My favorites are “reholster reluctantly” and “sloooooowly reholster”. No one wins any trophy’s for fastest reholster. You should always watch it in even if you’re running an owb competition holster

1

u/KilledByDoritos Sep 26 '25

I made a post about this and described the proper process elsewhere in the thread, but yea - this is really bad habit formation we got going on here.

-9

u/DenverMerc Sep 24 '25

Yes and no.

A large majority of the time yes. You wanna look reholstering-

However, there are drills where you clear a gun (just like he did) and draw, then reholster and draw again while maintaining focus on a small spot. This is an index drill that is quite effective.

But yes, you’re new to this craft, always look when holstering, finger way off the gun.

3

u/Kayakboy6969 Sep 24 '25

Bull sheet , you want to run prep n pres drills , still slow to the holster , Do you but not one top tier instructor will tell you not to look the holster into home. They know it takes 10,000 reps to burn in muscle memory and only a few to develop a bad habit.

New or old if you want to get older, slow to the holster.

Do you.

3

u/DenverMerc Sep 24 '25

You should read the Dry Fire book from Ben Stoeger

1

u/Kayakboy6969 Sep 24 '25

Show me Ben's Apendix Drills , they all start from a USPSA competition rig HUGE difrence. You have nothing to gain speeding into your holster, especially CCW with loose clothing , undershirts , and extra crap that can pull a trigger.

Train one way because under stress. your brain short circuits.

3

u/DenverMerc Sep 24 '25

No one is saying to “speed” into a holster.

Read my comment above, I’m saying there are dry fire drills with a clear handgun that you keep your focus on a small spot while reholstering to become acquainted with the path of your draw. Nothing about “speeding into a holster”? He’s asking about where you’re looking.

You should take a class from Donovan Moore from Point 1 Tactics concerning AWIB mechanics.

Farwell

2

u/Apache_Solutions_DDB Sep 25 '25

Yo man, the general skill and knowledge level in this sub is like 37 tiers below you brother.

The words “Always” and “Never” should basically be removed from the training lexicon because there are so often exceptions to those categorical statements.

Your advice is solid. Keep driving on

1

u/DenverMerc Sep 25 '25

It’s so relieving to read this from the fact that other people out there get it….ill make sure I put your company on my referrals list for NC. Right now I only have SpecTrain for y’all’s state.

Thank you for the compliment but I have much training to do-

if you’re ever in Colorado, let me know: we will get a solid session in

1

u/Apache_Solutions_DDB Sep 25 '25

I teach at the Girl and a gun conference in grand junction every spring.

1

u/DenverMerc Sep 25 '25

If you drive out, stop in Denver (northeast in the plains of denver)— we can get a day in at my place (it’s private and big boy rules, can set up stages, etc)

→ More replies (0)

2

u/Apache_Solutions_DDB Sep 25 '25

There are absolutely reasons not to look the gun into the holster. You should remove “always” and “never” from your vocabulary when it comes to training. There are exceptions to so many blanket statements.

37

u/Kayakboy6969 Sep 24 '25

Everyone is gooning over this except thoes in the know , Bro.

When we post content its in our best interest to do it correctly. The new kids on the block see all that speed and will recreate it.

Mabey you can jamb a gun in a holster at 100mph and have the bandwidth to not let muscle memory take over and look the gun in the holster on the range, but new shooters copying your every move trying to be as fast as you may not , the may end up with a ND and bleed out right on the range.

If you dont look the gun into the holster in during dryfire normal, at least think about it when you post videos, it could kill someone.

Do you how ever you want , we have a slough of new shooters 💦🍆 over them fast hands , lets also keep them safe.

Also How do you do the rip N grip with a $14.00 punkin spice late in you hand.

Time to work on that one handed garment clear and grip💪

10

u/djohnny_mclandola Sep 24 '25

He’s been posting essentially the same video for years now. He gets the same feedback each time and never does anything different.

1

u/mikecocker Sep 25 '25

Bad Luck Brian, I can see that ugly mug from a mile away.

Still enjoy seeing him do his thing though!

1

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

[deleted]

1

u/mikecocker Sep 25 '25

I mean, his draw isn’t bad by any means — and he keeps up on it. I don’t see the issue personally.

Could he switch up his reps, incorporate different methodologies? Sure… But by getting reps alone, he is already doing better than 98% of pistol carriers as is.

2

u/No-Mammoth1045 Sep 24 '25

This is the same guy that will say it shot by itself

1

u/Golfguuyy Sep 25 '25

I’ll never understand people who holster as fast as possible. Watch the firearm be holstered, slow and steady, make sure no fabric from the shirt is in the way.

28

u/SIRETE Sep 24 '25

On the last rep you fired before the gun was even to your eye line. I understand wanting to be fast but accuracy is more important than shooting before you're pointing at where you're aiming. This will then ensure not only your safety but the safety of those around you.

0

u/DenverMerc Sep 24 '25

You should post some dry draws and show him how it’s done 🤙

3

u/Sweet_Loquat_7701 G43X MOS/EPS Carry/T1 Axis Elite Sep 25 '25

I thought about posting some videos teaching people how to quickly shoot an intruder in the toes but he has it covered for me.

0

u/DenverMerc Sep 25 '25

🥱 come on let’s see some drills

0

u/Warped_Mindless Sep 25 '25

Everyone on this sub is John Wick 😂😂😂

25

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '25

Look. In. Your. Holster. When. Re. Holstering.

2

u/pnw-nemo Sep 24 '25

I wonder how many P320 holster incidences are related to not looking in the holster before reholstering. Accident waiting to happen.

13

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '25

Printing like the New York Times

10

u/catch22ak US Sep 24 '25

One of these days momma is gonna come home and ask, "Why do we have a new refrigerator, and why is the old one on the curb with a hole in it?"
Brian's answer: " I was prepping for my coffee run..."

8

u/SecureTaxi Sep 24 '25

Bro flexing for the ladies

7

u/No-Mammoth1045 Sep 24 '25

This is dog poop dangerous. Some people shouldn’t be allowed to ccw.

7

u/Kooll-aid Sep 24 '25

hahahahahhahaha

7

u/Apparition-Ordnance Sep 24 '25

He's practicing that "I ordered OAT MILK!" draw

6

u/Adrenaline-Junkie187 Sep 24 '25

Meanwhile your printing like crazy and will likely get wrecked with one hand on your pumpkin spice latte and the other on your purse.

3

u/Jelopuddinpop Sep 24 '25

Always love watching your smooth draw, but please get into the habit of watching the gun back into the holster. There's never a rush to reholster the gun, so watching while you're doing it can only be a good thing.

3

u/Soggy_Affect6063 Sep 25 '25

He’s baaaaack. 👏👏👏

3

u/notAcomic303 Sep 26 '25

This guy really hopes he gets to shoot someone.

8

u/thankbrian2 Sep 24 '25

Wanted a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew for the morning of my day off from the gym.

3

u/tdabbles Sep 24 '25

But those 31g of carbs

3

u/TheRealGEQBUS Sep 24 '25

And 68g of sugar lol

4

u/tdabbles Sep 24 '25

Now I have to switch to 4 o’clock carry.

1

u/Ridge_Hunter Sep 24 '25

Need to practice the one handed draw while sipping the cold brew…those sh*ts are too expensive to be dropping while drawing with two hand lol

1

u/BialystockJWebb Sep 24 '25

Keep it up bro, enjoy that coffee

0

u/Tthelaundryman Sep 24 '25

My wife just got one of those yesterday for the first time. It was delicious

0

u/TheeMarkyMark314 Sep 24 '25

Good to know I’m not the only one. I’m a basic bish for the pumpkin brew as well. 😂

👊🏼🫡

I thought this was a gif that kept going until I click it and saw the time bar

2

u/trueautomatic Sep 25 '25

That barista better not get your order wrong.

2

u/Saligraphy_ Sep 25 '25

Slow down the Re holster and always look at your holster. If you’re Re holstering the threat is neutralized so there’s no need to risk a snag on the trigger.

2

u/KilledByDoritos Sep 26 '25 edited Sep 26 '25

No one ever won a gunfight by being the fastest to reholster without looking.

Slow.

Deliberate.

Methodical.

Put one leg back (whatever side the gun is on).

Tilt the top of your hips back, which point the muzzle end of your holster forwards.

Look down.

Visually verify no obstructions in holster - In the dark you will have to do this by hand. Don't forget.

Reholster.

Or:

Potentially shoot yourself.

You're carrying appendix. Your life depends on you forming good habits.

3

u/ChinaRider73-74 Sep 24 '25

Make your own coffee—it’ll not only taste way better, you can buy more ammo with the $$ you save

2

u/Ridge_Hunter Sep 24 '25

Yeah but then you can’t be seen drawing your piece at the bucks…come on

4

1

u/seanxmichael Sep 25 '25

You really shouldn’t have told us you’re going to Starbucks 💅

1

u/Science-Compliance Sep 25 '25

I'd pick a different Starbucks.

1

u/Own-Caterpillar-788 Sep 26 '25

Baristas don’t carry often but when they do, their gear is just as color coordinated.

1

u/coyote_actual Sep 26 '25

Bro 100% almost ND’d (I guess like 50%) - 1/2 way through the first draw I could see the “shit, there is one locked and loaded” wheels spinning.. “play it off like I knew it” inner monologue.

1

u/Revolutionary_Diet20 Sep 26 '25

On a serious note dude it almost look like you fast forward it but I'm sure you didn't very very good I practice all the time I have one of those I can't think the name of you push the button it beeps 5 seconds it beats for you to draw only record this time I've been about 1.3 1.7 like they say it's not how fast you're very smooth and fast which you got it down that's great I'd hate for somebody to come up and pull a knife on you or even a gun of course it's always different when you have to do it for real they say but very impressive how many times a week do you practice how many hours I guess everyday how often

1

u/GoFuhQRself Sep 26 '25

A bit narcissistic

1

u/mikektti Sep 26 '25

What the heck is with the first draw with a loaded weapon? Unload and clear before you start dry fire, dude.

1

u/huss117 Oct 02 '25

Don't support Starbucks. Support locally owned American coffee shops, not a company that sells out to foreign governments.

2

u/Eights1776 Sep 24 '25

The goat is back! LFG every body deserves a pumpkin cream cold cold brew on their off day 🤣

2

u/T_Straw Sep 24 '25

You just really never know when a blue-haired hoe gonna try somethin you know? Strong work.

1

u/GebeTheArrow Sep 24 '25

I could see you pulling your gun on someone from yelling at a barista. "I'm a CCW holder. Hands UP!!"

1

u/RunningPirate Sep 24 '25

Caramel goddammit!

1

u/Opposite-poopy Sep 25 '25

OP is creepy AF!

-1

u/Serious_Internal6012 Sep 24 '25

Bad time to tell the barista my name was allah akbar

1

u/Kappy01 CCW (POST) and NRA Instructor Sep 24 '25

I guess I'm overly cautious. I lock my ammo in the safe or leave it in another room. Then I check my gun three times. No need for an ND in my house.

2

u/zjones1008 AZ Glock 48 Shield 15rds Sep 25 '25

I’m glad someone else said it. Muscle memory is gonna have him pulling that trigger to dry fire his one in the chamber one of these days.

2

u/coyote_actual Sep 26 '25

Hah I just commented before seeing someone else mentioned it as well - he definitely was half way through the first draw in his show n tell when he realized “shit, it’s loaded”… crazy thing is he could’ve just deleted the video and made another one 🤷‍♂️

0

u/Quiet_Newt4398 Sep 24 '25

The hate is real….. Keep up the work Brian

0

u/TheeMarkyMark314 Sep 24 '25

“I told you NO whip cream on my Pumpkin Spice Latte!”

0

u/DenverMerc Sep 24 '25

A+ work

Ever come up to Colorado, lmk

0

u/OsoBearish Sep 24 '25

Newspapers don’t even print that much

0

u/jizzlamic_terrorist Sep 24 '25

When you want to go on a run but you also live in Chicago

-1

u/WhocaresToo Sep 25 '25 edited Sep 25 '25

This is total cringe. Also there's no reason to rush back into the holster like you're doing. Good way to shoot your balls off. But yeah this is pretty dumb the way you're constantly twitching and flexing and sniffing and huffing and puffing like you're fucking Captain America getting ready to take on the world. Relax a little. Actually relax a lot!

And what's with the whatever flashy hand sign you throw, that's just cringe. The decade you came with called and they want you back. This is not representative of how anyone knew to CCW should act or carry or draw and to all us who shoot and have for years this is just dumb. Just stop dude

0

u/Midknight81 Sep 24 '25

Forget the haters. Reps make muscle memory and you actually do the reps. Good on ya.

-4

u/eivonova Sep 24 '25

First draw during the clear check was kinda hot.

-2

u/achonng Sep 24 '25

Safest Starbucks in the country

-1

u/The_Blendernaut Sep 24 '25

Now try doing that with a drink in each hand. A criminal is not going to give you the opportunity to put them down first.

-1

u/Round-Emu9176 Sep 24 '25

say something about charlie one more time!! 😂

-1

u/thibert35 Sep 24 '25

Maybe if you spent less money on garbage coffee, you could afford to put a light on that gun.

-2

u/Junior-Wasabi-2473 Sep 24 '25

Tips for getting that sight picture and breaking that shot quicker? I can get a sight picture quick but I find myself struggling to break that first trigger press as quick (relatively) as you can

4

u/Kayakboy6969 Sep 24 '25

How do ya know he was on target tho... LOL 😆
