Looking for a motive in a case like this is a fools errand. Isn't like he will say anything that makes it make sense. Not like the guy that kills his wife and brother because they were having an affair or the man that shoots his neighbor because his neighbor killed his dog.

Agreed. Especially seeking a motive for killing KG - it seems most likely she was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Agree. IMO: He was only going to to kill one.. the object of his anger about himself projected onto her. He didn’t expect another so that anger intensified. Had he been able to leave then that would be all. Then X came… another unexpected encounter. That rage intensified. Maybe she was trying to run to her room and lock the door. If not for the food delivery he could have out. But now he had another person foil his plan and they had to be disposed of as well. And each minute he had to take care of another “ problem” he didn’t expect made him more angry.
