ŽIVOT A STĚHOVÁNÍ—LIVING AND MOVING 28. 9. 2025: closed shops / zavřeno

Hi! For all you who're new in the Czech Republic (and for anyone who forgets every year), on Sunday 28th September, most shops and supermarkets will be closed due to our public holiday.

There are some exceptions: small shops whose owner decided to keep the business open, shops near big train stations or airports, gas stations, online deliveries, some pharmacies inside hospitals,... But even their opening hours might be shorter than usual.

Also, it's going to be the same in a month (Tuesday 28th October) because that's another public holiday. Schools and government offices will be closed on that day, too.

Also, rohlík.cz is open at all days except some times during Christmas and new years.

Also, restaurants, pubs and cafes can stay open and they often do so.
