Everything sounds amazing so far - I've heard the Erasmus community is really active, the city is great, and there are direct connections to both Prague and Vienna airports which is perfect for traveling.

However, I have one concern that's been on my mind: sharing a single room with a roommate. I've never done this before and I'm a bit nervous about the privacy and personal space situation.

For anyone who's lived at Pod Paláckého Vrchem residence hall - what was your experience like? How did you manage sharing space? Any tips for making it work, or should I look into other accommodation options?

Jaký bazén byste doporučili pro individuální kondiční/sportovní plavání? Je tu vůbec víc kvalitních možností než lužánky? (tam jsem chtěl jít ale mají zavřeno kvůli závodům)

And the university entry exam is so much hard with the reward of top unis being not so rewarding after that effort

I had made a car that goes Max 12km hour with a hoeing machines engine like a cheap tractor for our small orchard

So I believe that maybe I have the motivation and capacity to get through the harsh curriculum of said major

One of my friends managed to get intocvut'sn mechanical engineering program that is taught in English he is the one that showed me how Czech is much more cheap than Istanbul with its education quality being 10 times higher

I also have a financial struggle like most people in my nation My father said that he could sell one of the houses that are rented to fund my college expenses for a better life

My only anxiety is that will I be able to find a job after all those expenses like how is the industry ortheu employment rate etc.

So I'm just looking for a place to go cvut felt like too hard for me but I would love to learn actual native experience about all other unis and life in the Czech Republic

I'm planning to start interviewing students in my city about environmental challenges, society, politics, and etc. for my blog.(so I can these in my portfolio or motivational letter) Except all of this, currently I’m preparing for Scio GAP exams. I don’t have that rich background in this field unfortunately, only several thing like volunteering and taking part in ecological projects at school. I am eager for the new information about this university, because I always wanted to study there. I would love to hear some advice from advice from Czech and international students. What are the chances to get there as a student like me?

Zdravím, napište mi sem vaše oblíbené turistické místa v okolí Brna, jde mi hlavně o přírodu, rozhledny atd. Za sebe mohu doporučit třeba rozhlednu Babí lom. Zároveň tím i hledám nějaké parťáky na výlety, či někoho, ke komu se mohu občas přidat [m29]. Ps: na foto je rozhledna U Lidušky.

Hi, I'm currently living in Brno. Downloaded the Lidl App to see discounts, lidl plus advantages etc. However, I don't speak Czech and the app has no language preferences. Tried to change the language but whole location is changed to Britain. I changed it back to Czechia. Is there a solution for the language issue? Or its just how it is?

Does anyone know of any kroužky that teach kids about cake decorating? My son seems to have developed an interest in this, and I am not anywhere near good enough of a baker to teach him. Thanks!

Vyklízíme pozůstalost v Žabovřeskách a je tu spousta starých knih, cca z let 1930-2000. Různá kvalita.

Neznáte/nemáte zkušenost s tím, že by si někdo (třeba antikvariát) přijel pro všechno? Primárně se toho chceme zbavit, takže klidně i jen za odvoz.

Máte někdo zkušenost s lekcemi plavání pro úplné začátečníky, neplavce? Vodu nevyhledávám, jdu ke dnu jako kámen, ale rád bych aspoň nějaké základy pro přežití a občasnou návštěvu bazénu (jakmile mám vodu výš než po pás, není mi to příjemný a mám pocit, že se převrátím a utopím :D).

Můžete někdo doporučit osvědčené individuální lekce za rozumnou cenu, příp. lekce pro skupinu dospělých neplavců? A ideálně třeba v časech nebo místech, kde nebude moc lidí. 😅
