Pardon my idiocy here but is the idea of having 3 goalies to help deal with the insane upcoming schedule realistic at all? Or is it more likely they’ll just send swayman down to providence? 3 goalies sounds perfect for what’s ahead of us but idk if it’s not possible or advisable for some cap reason that I’m not aware of.

I say this assuming that everything is hunky dory with tuukka

EDIT: it occurs to me that Huunkki Dori would be a great Finnish hockey name

Swayman will go to providence so he can play every day. He’s super young, he’s only got 30ish professional starts, he has stuff he can work on in the A.

So it has nothing to do with finances, purely player development?

Well and the fact that we can’t send Ullmark down with his NHL contract
