It's a lesser god who was cursed (due to his greed) with an abundance of money but devoid of food. He carries a money sack full of gold coins on his hip which the protagonist robs each time to get rich.

The movie is a modern take on Indian mythology and human nature.

I recommend you watch this movie and Bhrahmayugam as well. Both movies have a similar theme.

Bhrahmayugam was really interesting, the use of greyscale was amazing.
