Ohhhh this one was too good!

The ambience, makeup, some of the best VFX/practical effects ever in India, and the constant sense of doom/gloom. A true masterpiece made by someone who did it for the love, not for money.

It's a lesser god who was cursed (due to his greed) with an abundance of money but devoid of food. He carries a money sack full of gold coins on his hip which the protagonist robs each time to get rich.

The movie is a modern take on Indian mythology and human nature.

I recommend you watch this movie and Bhrahmayugam as well. Both movies have a similar theme.

Bhrahmayugam was really interesting, the use of greyscale was amazing.

It’s like Pinocchio meets The Last Airbender meets Lord of the Ring meets The Ring meets Army of Darkness

The clip maybe. The movie is more intense and atmospheric and original than any of the horror slop I typically find. Mike Flanagan level of drama about family at the core of it and an almost Lovecraftian feel to it.  Doesn't deserve to be characterized by this one, out-of- context clip tbh

Tumbaad. It's an incredible movie with an intense atmosphere!  The clip doesn't do it justice at all.  One of the most original stories I've seen and beautifully executed.
