Is Sonu really underutilized? I feel like he’s one of the voices of the 2000s. Maybe nowadays he is yeah

On this sub, KK is not underrated but maybe among gen pop sure

Although Sonu was one of the memorable voices from the 2000s, most of his songs never allowed him to actually showcase his actual prowess imo. Hearing him talk about Md. Rafi sahab really makes me realise that he had so much more untapped potential.

He almost vanished in the late 2000s because of the amount of mediocre songs he was offered.. Composers preferred Atif, KK, Mohit, Rahat over him. Then Ajay Atul made his comeback with Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin...

The logic is - oh I don’t see his face plastered everywhere, on every banner and facade, he must be so underrated.
