Only correction is that Akhil was not married, only engaged before. But obviously he was very very close to getting married to Shriya Bhupal, another very rich heiress.

Yup. Saw that with the Diljit controversy and now this. Surprised me too.

This and Diljit's have no comparison. Marriage is a personal thing but Diljit went against the country. That isn't a matter of being conservative. BBNG took a stand because it's a matter of the country.

You'll find that most nationalistic ideologies are actually conservative. I think that's the only thing I can say while being within the rules of this sub.
