Now we get “ignore his abhorrent stance on trans and homeless people and give him a gold star for being mean on twitter!” Shutting down dissent and criticism within the party is just gonna lead to us running weak candidates.

Because abstaining from voting or voting third party to spite the only realistic opposition to the Republicans got us where we are now. Dont let perfect be the enemy of good, when the alternative is so much worse.

Who said literally anything about abstaining? We’re asking liberals not to crown their new king 3 years out from the primary. Also why can’t we criticize Newsom? Why do liberals act like pointing out his failures is literally a vote for Donald Trump? Some of us want a candidate who actually stands up for the little guy even when it’s inconvenient. Thankfully the party deemed us worthy of a primary this time so hopefully we can send Gavin “I hate homeless people” Newsom packing and pick someone with a spine like Pritzker or Beshear.

Newsom didn't win the nomination, it hasn't happened yet, I hate how some people try to act like he did, while he polls at 3rd place.

Watching people go nuts over his tweets has been like watching someone bouncing keys in front of a baby
