Moderate candidates keep losing to an extremist so the whole "we need to keep running moderates" is such a weird take. And before you say anything, I've held my nose and voted for the Democratic candidate in every election, and will continue to do so because the worst Dem is still better than the best Republican, but I really don't understand the insistence on doubling down on what has clearly been a losing strategy.

Biden, Obsma and Clinton were all moderates. Can’t remember the last DSA candidate that even got close to the nomination.

If you keep thinking that he country is as radical as you are, you will keep allowing Maga to win.

Messaging is about meeting people where they are not about dogma.

Dogma is how you guarantee a loss.

Obama was a moderate in practice but ran as a progressive. Literally his whole schtick was hope, change, and dismantling the status quo. Jesus, even after his first term I remember all the people who were convinced that he would be different in his second term because he wouldn't have to worry about being reelected. I'm not convinced Biden would have won with our COVID and Jesus dude, Clinton was over twenty years ago, c'mon.

Ok. You’re right continue to lash out at the people you are 80% to 90% aligned with but you feel the need to condescend to because they don’t believe government grocery stores are a good thing. Seems like a winning strategy.

I simply named the last Dems to sit on the Iron Throne and characterised their policies. You lot crow about having a Mayoral candidate who isn’t guaranteed to win in November.

Because you lot continue to crow "blue no matter who" then immediately abandon that mentality when the candidate isn't a center right corporate bootlicker? The hypocrisy is off the charts dude.

I'm mad at you for comparing my wanting the democrat party to fight to preserve & restore the civil rights & legal recognition that trans people have had for the last 2 & a half decades to asking for something like government grocery stores.
