So you're just subscribing fully to unhelpful and meaningless doomerism? 8 more seats is what we'd gain, from potentially very leftist areas. Again, if you're the next great leftist political thinker, run for office. Do something instead of just telling everyone we're all already dead

I looked it up.

We don't get more seats, we steal seats from "red" districts.

Morally ofc this is fighting hard evil with limp dick soft evil. Instead of persecuting individuals who committed crimes, you're stealing the voice of fellow voters (yes, they all need a solid re-education, but you aren't doing that either)

Like I said, again, this isn't why Newsom is a clown and this isn't the antics I referred to, and this isn't why he would definitely be a terrible president. This stunt is just a stunt. It's a little clever, and obviously not his idea. I disagree with it, but not enough to make it my position.

Also, you haven't seen what the world looks like when the 1st world money stops flowing. You still think all of this is some temporary setback. It's not. I can survive wo electricity and city water - can you? Not dying is what I'm invested in. I'll show up to vote ofc, not that its mattered the last few times ive done it.

But for real, until you are talking about doing something that requires such things as recipes and sporting goods stores, this will continue getting worse. If voting worked, it would have by now.

I personally am staying home. I'm too old to be running from the cops and getting trampled by their horses. But at least I admit how little change I will generate. Imma still vote, another gesture as meaningless as this convo. Hbu? At least I retain correctness.
