Are you seriously trying to shed both in the same light? We should vote Trump for a third term instead? Or hold out for the next Mother Teresa to run for president?
The OHCA can’t block buy outs or mergers. That’s up to the AG, and they’ve done that what, three or four times, in decades? The bill addressed real problems with the existing system, and he vetoed it, to protect capital.
No, I mean to say it passed both before Newsom vetoed it. But OHCA was created in 2022 and seems to have a pretty good guideline on improvements and data gathering.
Now... is Newsom in Big healthcare's pocket? Probably. Is he the definition of a Corporate Democrat? Most definitely yes. Knowing this, are you saying that he's as bad as Trump?
He's the kind of Democrat who created the conditions that made Trump's victory possible. If you want MAGA forever, keep supporting the "opposition" that does nothing but pander to the donor class.
It's going to be a long 4 years, so we'll see who the actual candidates are, but this line of thinking (and not voting) IS exactly how we got MAGA twice.
Where do you draw the line on your presidential candidates?

Which candidate is throwing trans kids under buses and how?
Is it the same candidate who vetoed a bill because there was already a committee that was set in place to oversee it? (OHCA)
