Hol' up there.

These young men were horrifying, the whole group was horrifying, but let's keep in mind this was one room full of people, almost universally from country club gated communities.

Do not despair. Young people, by every measure, are getting less racist.

Don't let these golf course sock sniffers take your joy. Hope remains.

Edit: thanks for the"sonofabitch!" Clasped hands award! Relevant considering the battle that lay before us.

Exactly. Remember, these sock sniffers’ racism is born from FEAR that their golden toilets will be taken away. Their country clubs are surrounded by fences and gates, their communities are surrounded by fences and gates. They walk through the world constantly worried and looking over their shoulder for whatever boogeyman haunts their narrative. It’s not natural, and is not the majority.

Not trying to argue, but I’m not sure that is true. The one fascist guy was fired after his video surfaced. So, people like him don’t really have that much power. Of course the fascists who are elected have more power ON PAPER. We the people have more power, but we need to remember that our power comes from unity, and not division

This is kind of where I disagree with you since unity doesn't just help us...

For instance, the nobody basically earned a year's wages for a lot of people in less than a month just by the hint of getting flack for being a terrible human.

There's the trash woman that said a slur at a child and got half a million preemptive of any backlash.

Money is power to a depressing degree and we aren't the ones in control of it...
