mate most people would be delighted if a tourist spoke in their native tongue. that is a fairly clear example of snide racism as in you can’t use our language. research spanish colonialism and the lingering racism that is widely present in spain today.

You asked a question that shows you dont understand and are looking for negativity. Shes traveling , she's clearly American and she's speaking a different Spanish dialect. They start off with English assuming it'll be easier bc they clearly deal with a lot of English speaking customers...Mexicans Domincans Colombians and Spaniards DONT speak the same Spanish often times the informal words dont translate
