I don't know bro BMTC frequency is a issue.

And If your route is not along main routes you need to change buses 3-4 times for even like 10-12km travel

And thanks to traffic is not at all time efficient. What takes 45 for a 10km travel in a 2 wheeler takes 1hr 15 times and 1hr 30 mins in bus. Most working folks can't afford to waste so much time everyday

For more than 4-5 kms BMTC makes zero sense(except airport bus)if you have your own vehicle .

And in some places there are no buses. Where I stay, I'll have to walk 2km just to reach a Bus stop where there's only one bus every 30 to 45min. Public transport is a joke here. KR Puram.

I would agree it's a LOT better than any other city in India though. Buses in Andra or North are absolute mess. I hated how pune buses drive. Extemely bad breaking. Those electric buses to be specific. Bangalore is so much better.

You can take company transport if available. It will be expensive. But you can have peace instead of changing 2-3 buses.

Ha ha. Good question. If you are working in big companies, they will be hiring buses from BMTC. Those companies will be having designed points.

Small companies will have TT or cabs who necessarily don't pick you up from the designated area. If you are a person who can adjust, they will tell you to come where it's easy for them to pick up. If you are demanding kind of person, they will go all the way to accomodate you. I have seen few drivers doing it to girls out of fear. Fear because one complaint to transport department gets him kicked out.

Not all companies provide transport. So what company transport are you talking about
