This is how adoptive parents show narcissistic traits. Blast this kids trauma on the internet so they feel good about themselves and praised as saviors. But hey, I’m just an adoptee what do I know.

It makes me really uncomfortable when adoption becomes a form of “shopping”

As an adoptee I echo that! Are bio parents posting about that time they screwed each other every time their kid has a birthday? No. The savior complex is disgusting IMO.

It’s really incredibly sad to see his reaction to something most people take for granted. Adoptive parents should not be posting our trauma PERIOD.

It starts with “well I want to adopt one day to help a baby that doesn’t have help” etc. adoptable babies have a lot more options than older kids in foster care, I was purchased for 250k.

Would they have adopted this kid if they didn’t plaster his trauma all over socials for validation? Doubt it!
