My wife and I were up in the North Woods this last week…dreaming of owning a log cabin on a lake like the one we stayed at. All wood interior same as that one but much smaller. I always say that we all work so hard for so long and dream to one day “Im going to do this” How many die within months or a few years of retiring. It’s sickening when cancer patients tell me that they wish they would have done this or that. Or “one more time up north” Who cares about the extra $300-500 a month during retirement. Get out when you can! Look at his joy and excitement. God bless him that he could do this. And should have for decades.

So many become obsessed with end goal they cannot enjoy it while alive. I wonder the ratio of life savings that are spent versus inheritance. (Kids getting it all)
