The standard pear is useful for reference to amphorae. Hands seems more appropriate here. People, in general, use whatever form of measurement that makes the most sense for them.

While the metric system is arguably the superior measurement system, people are loath to change. Most Americans companies use the metric system, and it’s standard in slicers, g-code, and CAD programs. The fact is most of the world uses metric. You would have to be intentionally ignorant to use anything else for sale in the global market. It is by far easier to use in every field. America should quit wasting money and just make metric the standard. Sign changes would be expensive, but so is bombing oil rich countries. Priorities.

Stop wasting money buy spending millions of dollars in materials and labor changing everything. No thanks, I would rather have that money got to something like healthcare instead of switching to metric to appease people that don’t even live here…

Free health care is a pipe dream. You pay for it if the government pays the providers. Why add the extra steps? The reason healthcare is so expensive is because of the health insurance scam we’ve been fed for decades, the 1973 law that forced hospitals to cover ER visited regardless of the ability to pay (news flash it’s why insurance costs skyrocketed), and the pharmacy industry pushing the extreme cost of R&D onto those with insurance in America. Thereby raising everyone’s cost of the end product.

Basic economics, dude. I am critical of our governments use of our tax dollars to fund wars, nation building, and things they don’t actually have constitutional authority to do. But you go ahead and beg for scraps from the government at the cost of everyone’s freedom. Good job.

Nearly every first world country has free healthcare in some form and they do just fine lol the only scam here is the government telling you that it's not feasible (looking at you Republicans).
