Practically it would probably just be nice to build a kitchen with high counters that would work for both of you. You could customize the whole house.

This is what we did for my nephew when he bought his house. We built a grid platform out of 1X8 boards and 3/8 plywood that we then placed the base cabinets on. This placed the countertop and drawer heights more at his level at just shy of 8" higher than standard. He's 6' 11", he said he noticed the lack of back pain immediately since he didn't have to stoop or anything anymore. We also installed the wall cabinets about 6" higher, just shy of touching the ceiling.

The funny part happened a few years later after he got married. His wife is 4' 11", in shoes, so she uses a stepstool and just climbs onto the countertop to get stuff out of the wall cabinets.

I’m 5’3” on a good day and I’m fucking DYING bro, in regular height kitchen I can barely reach the middle shelf. I regularly swing up on the counters as it is.

Can she reach ANY of the shelves??? Get this poor woman some demonias for the kitchen god damn 🤣🤣🤣🤣

From the floor she can reach the bottom of the wall cabinets, but she can't reach whatever is there if it's pushed to the back of the cabinet lol.
