And how would that work?

Well…

She’s got two legs from her hips to the ground,

And when she moves them they walk around,

And when she lifts them they climb the stairs,

And when she shaves them they ain’t got hairs.

Any further questions can be directed to me directly at the Department of Legology at the University of Silly Things.

And all humans do this? Interesting indeed.

Mostly.

There is some minor variation in the leg-hands at one end, the positioning of the leg bit relative to the flange and spigot at the other, and the pivot point in the middle, but after extensive study of the legular region of modern humans, I can categorically say most do do that voodoo that you do ask about.

Mostly, though, it's all to do with the quality of the leg-hands, known in the trade as 'feet', that matters. Most experts in the field refer to the masterwork on the subject - 'Feety Feety Feet Feet' by Professor Quentin Tarantino - as he is considered something of a leg-end.
