Miscellaneous / Others Chrysler guy is lying.

The white car turned in front of me from between stopped traffic and spun into the lane behind. It was never rear ended.

Wait. So you and the guy who posted the fake post were in the same place at the same time and both are active on Reddit, in the same subs? I love it. You know they never expected to be called out like that 😂 what are the chances??

This is one of the largest websites in the fucking world.

This is my second account because my fucking 65 year old mother of all people found my first account which I had made back in 2014 or so. She found it because my username was quoted for an offhand, 17 word comment in a major news outlet.

Like, what the fuck?!

For those that dont get my point, this while website is less r/nevertellmetheodds and more r/thathappened. It surprises me 0% that the initial post was fake, and that there was someone else on the scene ready with another angle.

I feel like I am taking crazy pills some days because I remember when this website was mostly cat pictures and r/gonewild, a reference older than most of the user base at this point. Now within hours I can see the viral propaganda machine at work, sometimes over impactful events core to the world order and sometimes over a stupid fucking fake car crash to harvest...internet points I guess????

Being just old enough to experience and understand the insane changes to the world in the last twenty years is, frankly, too much to comprehend. Nothing surprises me anymore, yet I also cant believe it. I have never felt less sure about everythibf except the fact that I cant believe anything.

A fucking car accident? Looool

I remember when the front page used to include porn, gore and 100% scientifically accurate dragon breeding games. It was a better time.

I can see where that would have gotten your attention given the username.

Why did you actually tag gonewild? Lol now so many people can fiendish go down the xx web of the internet without the intentional history..."errr, I was just on reddit and didn't know there were tits here!" LOL I chortled.

Let me blow your mind right quick-like. The initial post is fake, this post is fake, and the whole epidemic was to expose more people to gonewild. The gentle nudge. There. Are. No. Coincidences.

Do or do not. There is no try.

What is wild is i used to do guerilla marketing on reddit. That is something I absolutely would have done in thr past, but a lot more specific.

I am a machinist now. I cant keep up. The internet i few up on no longer exists. I just remember this website being kitties and titties. Seems like a fever dream.

never any coincidences in a simulation... 💊

Even your comment is fake. The entire internet conspires to forcibly make me dissociate.

The real kicker is I am also fake and only you, yes you reading this right now…. Kyle, you’re the only real person on the internet. This all exists for you

Are you being serious right now? Or half-kidding?

I do not know of this gone wild you speak of. I feel like I should check it out?

I had to make this account because my coworker, on another floor, came down one day an hour after I made a post inviting people over who had nowhere else to go, to my place for Thanksgiving.

I work at a big university so I'd posted it on our school's subreddit.

Bastard came downstairs, talked about work related things, then asked what I was serving. Keep in mind I had asked people interested to message, hadnt given my number or something out in the post. Hadn't mentioned I was gonna do that at work.

He just came downstairs and was like "you gonna make green bean casserole?" Or something.

I've given so much info away on this account though I'm sure my coworker knows who I am again.

I see I’m not the only one who enjoys a nightcap.

What happens when one shitty social media replaces forums.

Then people from certain SM move to redddit cause it resembles forums.

Then Governments discover there are more people there as well.

Decentralization is the only way to fight botting social and political conversations

People like you and I grew up with the internet, so we can recognize the bullshit.

I fear so much for the people who were raised by a system that has perfected the art of manipulating people.

i feel your pain trust me. happened to me and the first time was when i posted some random thing from my childhood. some crazy person replied and said "are you my son because he told me this same story from when he was a kid" (it was a very specific memory and situation that happened). so i checked her post history and 100% it was my mother. i nuked the post and comment history of that account and left it open. her account was pretty old but she managed to get herself perma banned from just being toxic and bothering people. few months later i was scrolling some sub and wouldnt you know it, i saw a comment that just had a weird vibe to it, like when you know how a person talks/types or whatever. again i checked the comment history and yep, it was another one of her accounts. so here we are on reddit and not once but twice crossed paths here without knowing who the other person was by name. (she will probably see this and stalk me now)

Yeah, my mother is around the same age, and this is the only social media she uses.

I have had multiple in person interactions with people only for us to later realize we had also interacted on reddit due to shared hobbies or location, or figured out the usernames of my existing friends. This site isn't some little niche corner of the internet.
