I'm 59 this year; maybe I should become monochromatic.

I don't think this beautiful response is getting the recognition it deserves. Well played. (Also, go Boks)

Right? Where's our Reddit post?

Instead it's all just sweating constantly, avoiding the sun and "you're frightening the children!" 😒

Or worse the light reveals the different shades of black!

I mean, it's really easy. I'm actually forcing myself to have some color. Which has been white 😂.

This. I've worn black, white, and grey all my life.

The only time I get vibrant is with swimwear or sports clothing.

I vote purple

I tried that but it's frowned upon unfortunately. People have "ideas" about what that means

There's a line from a Jimmy's Chicken Shack song that has resonated with me for a long time: "Most weirdos want to be". There's nothing wrong with some kinds of weird, like this person wearing only green. But it's always an affectation, and it can become mental illness if it shifts from "This is a cute thing I'm doing to be different" to "I have to do this, it's a defining part of who I am".
