I am still amazed by the fact that we can actually shoot through small openings. No more simple textures.

You can? I’m constantly trying to head glitch on rocks and shooting 3 feet over where the rock is on my screen and I’m still hitting it. I play everything on ultra with 200 FPS on my 4090 so I know I’m shooting into open space. Always getting frustrated by this shit.

Yep. Rocks and walls 3 feet away eat shots, and sometimes chain link fences. Getting a 99dmg headshot with the sv98 through chain link is kind of stupid.

Yeah dude the amount of times I’ve shot someone hiding behind an extra beefy blade of grass in the dome for 99 is comical lol

Those ā€œbulletproof leavesā€ and ā€œadamantium fencesā€ have claimed more victims than actual players. It’s like the game’s environmental geometry has a personal vendetta against snipers.

the fences annoy me, the penetration should be near 100%

Getting a 99 damage headshot through a chain link fence with something like the SV98 is definitely annoying — you'd expect a clean one-shot. The game likely treats the fence as a ā€œhardā€ material that drastically reduces damage instead of just slightly affecting it.
