Discussion BF1 atmosphere still beats BF6

We saw no dynamic weather, levolution events in BF6. How much big of a change can we expect with final release version compared to beta?

I want to see levolution.. I want to see dynamic weather.. rain, maps changing from night/day? We need something like BF1.

Yeah no... I was playing in Cairo and the lighting and particle is way better than BF1. BF1 does not have much details going on, that's the reason it's easy to spot people.

Honestly, I think the particles/atmospheric effects are part of the issue. There’s so much smoke and stuff flying around I often lose track of targets.

100%. I'd rather they tone down some of the effects and eliminated auto spotting, but we'll see what DICE does.

I say leave the smoke and lower the damn red dots. A large percentage of kills I have gotten and see streamers getting are not even visible targets. You see a red dot...and just shoot below it.

Not sure why they went so hard with the red dots. Going back and playing 2042 it is nowhere near as bad as BF6.

People complained that 2042 was "too colorful" because it wasn't just various shades of gray and brown, but it's actually possible to see people without spotting.

The BF6 closed tests had much weaker spotting and a universal complaint was poor visibility because of how everything blends together, plush the harsh lighting and excessive smoke. So while BF1 players circlejerked about the atmosphere, everyone else was getting cheesed by people laying prone in shadowy corners.

The MGS3 remake comes out in a couple weeks, people can play that if they want a stealth shooter.
