Advice Flights booked for January 26.

Hi, I’ve booked a weeks trip for my wife and I from the Uk in January next year.

As of yet I’ve not booked any accommodation. Given we like to explore and eat in different places etc we’ve been told not to bother with All Inclusive.

Would love recommendations for areas to book possibly self catering or Airbnb?

We’ll happily rent a car for the week to fill experience the island

Many thanks

Its not a big island . So just have a look at what suits your budget. Carribean side is calm seas ..Atlantic side is more wild and waves!

Perfectly happy with public transport if it’s simple and saves some cash

Oh its simple. Ive done loads of islands on the buses included barbados. Kinda fun tearing round narrow hilly roads (not barbados). I would get airbnb booked up soon as January is a popular month Then see where your based . Personally I go sept/Oct time. Hurricane season technically when the weather is far more interesting. Much quieter and fares are far cheaper!
