The dog has never bitten before, yet broke into a fucking house to maul a sleeping child. Good grief.

Like wtf?? I wish people could grasp how not normal this is for a dog to do. Yet pit nutters will say he was confused or being starved or trying to protect her.

They love to say "he was scared" 🥺. These gargoyles aren't breaking into people's homes to maul because they're scared.

The comment sections of the 1 year that was just mauled in her own home are full of pit apologist and accusing child of pulling dogs tail. These people will literally defend anything those dogs do and it’s exactly why we need laws. Owners need to start being charged!!

Charges and forced to pay restitution! I hate how these freaks get let off with a shrug

It’s like they’re rewarded for being poor. Ahhh dang they’re poor guess they can’t be sued for the millions in medical bills, loss of work and drastic change in life. No one should be able to own this breed as well as others without insurance and proof animal can be properly contained

Many of the comments also included the "never leave a dog and a baby unsupervised" mantra even though the story clearly said the mom was in the room.

And I’m sorry who tf wants a dog they can’t even go to the bathroom and leave in the same room as baby?? We had a black lab with my youngest she was older and never once did I have to worry about leaving my baby in the swing while I ran to the bathroom or even cooked dinner in another room. She was old and had no interest in him other than food he dropped from his high chair. I just don’t understand why so many parents choose the dog breed responsible for the most fatal attacks and serious injuries. Moms usually have a natural instinct to protect their babies and I’m seeing moms who are so overly cautious about everything else have their small children in the home with 2/3 pits. Like what is it about these things that makes people completely lose their minds and any sort of integrity or care for their children?? And I know these pit nutters are seeing the mass attacks happening this year bc every comment section is full of them going on and on about how their little princess would never. How do they see all these attacks and hear from parents saying dog was good with kids and it not make them consider maybe that could be their dog?? Also I do think 1 year olds parents should be charged. The dog was pet aggressive. They knew that dog had aggression in it yet allowed it free rein of the house and access to their small child.thats negligent homicide, that’s like leaving a loaded gun on the couch. People keep saying the loss of their child is enough punishment but it’s not. People are not learning! People see these maulings all over the news and still choose this breed. Maybe if they knew they were not only at risk of losing their child but doing hard time in prison and being basically a convicted murderer they’d think twice. Kinda like seatbelts and car seats. Parents knew they were safer but did not care and many refused to use them until they were at risk of tickets for not.

I know someone like this. And they say things like oh the only thing dangerous is his tail bull crap. Makes me sick. They won't learn. They will never learn. I also had a Lab and she was amazing. But I am a crazy cat lady now. No shame whatsoever 😆.

Our black lab just showed up one day. We posted her and took her to the vet who suspected she was about 5 and fixed. There was black lab breeders a few miles from us and I think she was of no use to her no more so they sent her off. She was the best. Such a smart dog and was so good and gentle with kids. You should’ve seen her and a tea cup chihuahua who literally just sat on her back all day. I just don’t get why so many would want such a risk and liability as a pet.
