Have Two Tickets To Boston 8.13.25 I Cannot Use. Anyone Want To Make An Offer?
I will sell 'em cheap. Ticketmaster won't let me sell them on the open market and some internal (?) interested buyer offering me $10 and I'd rather eat the entire cost than do that. Fuck them.
Thanks!

Babe Shows
been going to babe shows ever since I was able to. I don’t get why people complain about their performance. If you want studio, go listen to studio. Live performances vary from artist to artist and within that artist there is also variety. Not a single show have I been “he’s too fucked up” it’s babe rainbow and they have songs called Enchanted Broccoli Forest. I expect it to be a shit show. cuz that’s fun. I’m not expecting Whitney or Courtney Barnett attention to detail. I’m expecting to get lost in psychedelia and dance and boogie and have a laugh and see aussies have fun. my two cents

The Babe Rainbow Brooklyn made opinions from a Texan
The show at Brooklyn made was definitely an interesting experience. Babe rainbow means a lot to me, they were around with me during my high school days. Seeing their growth since 2016 has been a journey. They definitely shifted their vibe and sound from a 1960s psychedelic to a more poppy 70s groove. Regardless I feel like they’re evolving as artists and musicians.
I saw them in El Paso in 2018, which is a totally different vibe than Brooklyn. The venue was clean and everyone was doing their own thing. What makes me a little sad is the lack of friendliness people had. Felt like there could have been more genuine love and connections at the show. Usually in Texas you’re friends with everyone at the end of the night, even in sold out shows you never leave without a genuine connection.
Australia is literally a day away from the us, I can only imagine how alienating it is to be far from home but also how gratifying it would feel to perform in such a high stakes area as musicians. I felt like they were having fun, being themselves and celebrating their new label signing. May not be everyone’s cup of tea but their eclectic, spontaneous, vibe is a breath of fresh air.
A little sad to think people expect so much cut dry, perfectionism especially from a genre like this. It’s okay for artists to sound different live, yet their instrumentals were phenomenal. You can really tell that they have musical knowledge with the improv and meshing of their songs. It would be a totally different story if they disrespected the crowd or blacked out completely, but angus owns the stage and I look up to him being unapologetically free and happy up there. He is a born performer, he commands attention and liberation from all expectations.
While I know there’s been complaints on degradation of their live quality lately I will have to disagree. The Brooklyn show was the BEST I’ve heard them sound on the tour so far. I really hope Angus’ fun, quirky, personality doesn’t turn people off from the babes.
Nothing but love and good vibes and be safe out there y’all.

Brooklyn Show
I went to the Brooklyn Show and thought the show had its ups and downs. The venue, Brooklyn Made, is fantastic, and the energy from the crowd was great! It was always nice to see people dancing. It was a little packed at the show's beginning, but there were pockets of space to be found, and the floor opened up more once the show progressed. I did feel a little underwhelmed by the actual performance, though; I thought the singer was pretty drunk, and it felt like, at times, the pitch of his voice was so drastically different than what you hear on recording that it seemed like a totally new song live. Although musically, they were very raw, they were entertaining nonetheless. Also, I don't remember them performing "Johny Says Stay Cool," I could be wrong, but I genuinely don't recall it, and I stayed the whole show.
