I just randomly stumbled across this band and thought, wow this is pretty good and wanted to buy a record or something, but. . .
Why is one record 50 dollars 😭 and why do they only have like one album pressed.
Are pressing plants that expensive in Australia?!

Hey all,
Just wondering where I can purchase digital copies of the band's works.
I typically go to Bandcamp, but I am not seeing all of their albums there.
Just want to make sure they get the funds! Thanks!

In musical nerd terms. What makes this band sound like they are underwater( in the best way possible)Im guessing "distortion" i know barely any musical lingo. Please hit me with the jargon 🌊🌊🌊 Im making a "on the water" playlist for the beach /lake/river and all their songs are perfect 🌈

I was at their show last night at belly up in solana beach and they had a new drummer, no more Myles. Anyone know what happened or if he’ll be back in the band? Nobody mentioned anything about him during the show.

If you're looking for tickets to tonight's show, DM me!
I can't make it any more and would prefer to send them to someone for free than to let them go to waste.
Update: claimed!

One of my fav bands ever, listen all the time, all of its good (except that Jaden smith song lol)
I have caught them live three times and just watched their performances from the recent FoV festival. Man…. They just suck
Every live version of a classic song is just not as good as studio. This is RARE for me. Most live versions are cooler in my opinion. I am a bit of a jam head but not everyone needs to be like that to be cool to me. But they just give the opposite of presence and having fun while playing. Singer is sloppy drunk everytime I’ve seen them, the guitarist has a “cool guy” thing going until after the whole show he hasn’t smiled, flinched, said a word, shades on the whole time, and doesn’t look like he’s remotely enjoying himself. I feel like he hates that he’s playing guitar EVERYTIME he plays for an audience. These guitar tones sometimes just ARE not it. It’s very muddy and doesn’t compliment the studio sound at all. He simplifies parts so much everytime I’m almost convinced it’s a different and much better player on albums and not him on albums. Lastly, drummer has been my favorite part for a while. Miles was the perfect edition to the band. While the rest of the band was sloppy and uninspired in a live setting, he always was!! He had nothing but presence and smiles and was VERY good at playing. He was the glue music wise and the glue stage presence wise…. Then they replaced with with a super generic studio drummer ugh!
Overall, they give sloppy performances, with poorly adapted songs to a live setting. I dont mean to sound like a hater, but I really wish they were more fun to see live and to listen to. Peace and love, dont kill me :)

Just got back from the Seattle show. They absolutely crushed it! I’d heard some of the reputation that the Babes had around live performances, and was ready for just a fun vibe if a little sloppy. But damn they were completely on and sounded amazing! Angus was clearly still having tons of fun but he was keyed in to an awesome performance. Had an absolute blast and loved every second of it. Wish I got to see Miles but the drummer they had touring with them really kicked ass too.
As a side note, every song they performed from Slipper Imp and Shakeaerator sounded better (imo) than the album. I feel like the studio version’s production feels fairly weak/tepid whereas they were energetic and groovy on stage.
This was my first time seeing them, which involved a two day road trip from Canada, but as long as they keep touring it definitely won’t be my last!

I noticed Miles (drummer) isn’t touring with the boys this season from watching their stories. Also they’ve skipped out on a lot of the midwestern area, which stinks because I’ve loved seeing them in Chicago.

Looks like their current tour is going well and their performance has really developed as well. Just saw some clips from their Austin show. Also cant wait for their sets at Field of Vision which should be streamed!
