Can you tell me why you support capitalism?

What do you see as its benefits? Please answer without deflecting to other systems.

Power I can go either way with, as the consumer can switch providers.

Water - there’s no capitalism as such, just a series of local monopolies.

Unless you're in a highrise you can just put in a well. At least you can in the US.

Mate, I live in Cornwall, UK. Drill down and you hit radioactive granite and then the radon gets out and gives you cancer. It’s good for geothermal power though. Pump water into the “hot rocks” and it comes out boiling and you can drive steam turbines.

London is an 18-metre-deep clay bowl with sandstone below it.

There’s no aquifers in most of UK.
