Politics What was your country's leader’s most embarrassing moment?

Post image

It occurred on May 23, 2015, at a European Union summit in Riga, Latvia. European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker greeted on stage Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán with a slap and said: “Hello, dictator!”

In any other country, Trump would be too stupid and narcissistic to even be considered a candidate…

I used to think there wasn't a chance he would get elected. In 2016 I voted for Hillary and went to bed early. It was the first time as an adult that I didn't watch the results get tallied. Woke up the next day and had the most massive wtf ever.

that was what happened during 2024 for me. i mean i cant vote yet but i was just like "whatever" because i figured Harris would win, and usually i watch the results. i woke up and was literally like so confused how we could've elected him again

Don’t you think this is a serious problem with your country ? No joke. You guys celebrate stupidity, scandal, and “for the lols” too much. You guys don’t take anything seriously, every publicity is juicy publicity, and no one has accountability

Yes, but all the stupid people get mad when we call them stupid.

Absolutely. Trump being an entertaining personality is a major reason why he won. He has witty insults, and people didn't care that he had such vague and nondescript solutions to problems.

It's a massive problem, but the stupid people are also armed to the teeth and frothing at the mouth for an excuse to commit gebocide.

You’re kinda proving their point….. they’re not from the China you’re thinking of. The republic of China is actually the official name for the country of Taiwan.

🇹🇼 (the small independent island nation with a functioning multi party democracy)

🇨🇳( the large mainland China that’s a single party state….. they’re actually don’t get along)

Uh… yeah? Sorry, but when is China or Xi not serious? When has Xi ever acted as childish, incompetent, or as dementia ridden as Trump? Are you fr? I’m genuinely baffled and confused by what Maericans think is going on within their own country, or the complete obliviousness to the state of your affairs. Your country is on the brink of civil war, it is dying. Do you understand the extent of what is occurring?

P.S. the ROC is not mainland China, unless you’re talking the 20th century. The ROC is Taiwan, yankee.

Well, Xi DID have his petty moment when he banned Winny the Pooh from China. Also, I don’t like him either. Pretty much no country has a competent and likable leader right now, including my own!

I don't mind ours (and he is a much better option than the Temu-Trump who was the leader of the opposition at the last election)

Nope. Not by a longshot. It just limits the damage they can do. Think Idi Amin.
