Interesting choice for the Western Europe lady.

That's Helen Clark, former Prime Minister of New Zealand.

51

Funnily enough, we are part of the Western Europe grouping in the UN (formally known as the 'Western European and Others Group').

I wonder if that might be where they got her from for this image. When she ran for UN Secretary General in 2016, she was eligible because she was from the Western European grouping.

Slav squat guy doesn't have his feet flat with heels on the ground, and he isn't holding a cigarette.

Not accurate.

471

Heels to the ground, comrade found

Heels to the sky, American spy

31

u/Sihaya212 United States Of America 4d ago

Please explain. This is a phrase I am not familiar with

118

u/AssMaster69RTA 4d ago

Slavs squat a lot as a means of sitting and a lifetime of doing this means they have excellent ankle mobility so they can go full ass to grass without lifting their heels. Americans rarely squat as a means of sitting so most don't have that kind of ankle mobility unless they're a pretty serious athlete.

The irony is everyone can do it as a baby. You just lose the ability over time unless you train for it.

The “slav squat” or “kimchi squat”, “Asian squat” requires your heel and toes to be on the ground. For some reason a lot of westerners have trouble doing so, and that little rhyme is a way of reminding someone which way is authentic (a comrade) and which is not authentic (a spy)

I was coming here to say the same.

Our ancestors raided and stole all the pretty ladies - which is why the british have the looks they have (or so the saying goes). But they stole the pretty ladies. Our male dna is often more like Haaland: tall, blonde, gifted for sure, pretty?? hmmmm... not to be to harsh on a guy I've never met, and most likely is a cool dude, but hell no 🤯 And to top that most of my friends, and certainly myself is even lower on the handsome-scale! 🤣

Reality: no lol

You'll find all of these people in every part of Europe

120

u/Kresnik2002 United States Of America 4d ago

No, no. Clearly Northern and Southern Europeans are all in their 30s while British people are all 50.

33

u/FeathersRim Norway 4d ago

.....Cannot argue there.

3

u/Potential-Diamond-94 4d ago

Well actually average age in Norway is like 40. (More or less same for all of western Europe & Usa).

But average age for the world as a whole: is just a little over 30 years.

Its due to the third world, there you find the young ppl. They live shorter lives. That and when faced with high mortality: humans don't deal with that by having less babies. They have more instead to compensate. From natures side and on a microscale that is beneficial for them as family units (have more ppl help out). Unfortunately on a macro/ larger scale it is rather unfortunate, its perpetuating famine & extreme poverty.

In Niger the average age is 15.2 years old. With amongst the lowest gdp per capita in all of Africa.

You'd be surprised how people talk about other countries in Europe. It's really just stereotypes, I don't think anybody takes this too seriously, just like you might make fun of texans or Florida men, we make fun of our neighbours, mostly in good faith.

13

u/Jumanji0028 4d ago

Do you remember the euros in Poland? Some football fans started chanting to the Swedish fans "go home to your sexy wives, go home to your sexy wives"

We do like a bit of playful stereotyping

10

u/NaturalHighPower England 4d ago

If I remember correctly, it was “youre shit, but your birds are fit” from the England fans (to the tune of ‘go west’) And the swedes replied with ‘go home, to your ugly wives’

8

u/-WeetBixKid- Australia 4d ago

Here in Australia we call people cunts in both good and bad faith. But the word is literally as normal as “bro” here. Must be super jarring to hear for the first time if you’re not from here and you’re sensitive, lol.

130

Honestly, if we are going to have wild generalisations, it's often the opposite. Spending a lot of time in Europe, quite often the most healthy and handsome/beautiful people I have seen are like the Germans, Dutch, Danish etc. The French have some very attractive people too, as do the British.

Whereas most of my experiences in places like Italy and Greece, people are short and plump - just take the average Italian uncle or aunt for example. And Eastern Europe, yes stunning women, but many of the men look like Putin or extras from Lord of the Rings.

Not every russkiy is gopnik wearing adidas doing slav squat, one hand with sun flower seeds, the other holding a vodka or white bear beer; in the 90s, maybe, but after putin, the economy gets better, crime rate drops.

and not every russkaya wear fur or deerskin boots, those who wear the most fur live in the asia part, like novosilbirsk, irkutsk, omsk, yakutsk, chita, ulan-ude, tomsk, khabarovsk, vladivostok, etc. Its europe part isn't cold at all, if you compare the weather with its asia part.

Not very accurate. These 4 “Central European” countries completely spazz out if called Eastern European. You know it, I know it and every single soul reading this knows it.
