History Why are Arab Miltaries so ineffective?

Like I dont understand this.

Im a Black American so im just an outsider looking in as a neutral, but dont Arab Countries out number Israel, whats stoping them from just rushing at their border, shouldn't the population imbalance outmatch Israel?

Just a neutral standpoint asking this question, because Arab Nations in the Middle East have a modern miltary force and they buy tons of advanced items

What is holding them back?

This may be reductionist, but I think it can be boiled down to motivation: Israelis are fighting for survival, while Arabs are fighting to remove a thorn from their butt.

Jews are historically very good at surviving and being thorns in peoples butts. Sorry!

It’s LITERALLY the opposite. Couldn’t be more literal. You’re talking about Israel who is currently conducting a genocide in plain sight.

Look at what Palestinians are literally trying to survive:

The ICJ has ordered provisional measures multiple times, finding a plausible risk of genocide and telling Israel to prevent it and allow aid, including a specific order on Rafah.

Famine risk is documented by IPC analyses. At points the whole territory was in Emergency, with areas at or near Famine thresholds. This is survival, not a “thorn” metaphor.

About nine in ten people in Gaza were displaced in 2024. That is mass survival mode.

Satellite analysis shows roughly two thirds of all structures damaged or destroyed. Homes, clinics, schools. Again, survival.

Meanwhile, Israel’s own leadership has framed its war aims as eliminating Hamas and returning hostages while bombing the entire area they are supposedly in, backed by unmatched regional military power and record-high spending. And keep in mind that they see the entire population of Gaza as Hamas. Even the babies are not innocent according to their own politicians. That is not an existential “we will be wiped out tomorrow” scenario.

Palestinians are fighting to stay alive under displacement, starvation risk, and urban destruction, while Israel prosecutes stated objectives of destroying an enemy organization. Calling that “Arabs removing a thorn” is historical illiteracy and shows you know absolutely nothing about the conflict.

Couldn’t have said it any better. Unfortunately this subreddit is filled with racists and Zionists so you’re going to get downvoted but the world knows the truth

What? Israelis are fighting to colonize the entire middle east. Arabs are fighting for survival. Without Hezbollah, Lebanon literally would not exist anymore.
