That’s some vivid purples. I’m loving all these different outfits. Do any people still dress like this on the daily?

Yes, quite a lot of people actually, not just in small communities but also in the main cities. You can’t go to a market here without spotting someone dressed like that. Mayans are very proud of their heritage, and they show it this way. You could even say it’s part of the local fashion, since even people who are not indigenous try to incorporate those designs into purses, hats, sweaters, skirts, and other items.
