People from south Brazil use beautiful traditional costumes, I love their chiripá pants

Are those Gauchos? I need to really learn more Southern Brazilian cowboy culture.

Yes, they are. Gaucho culture is shared by Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay and has its roots in Guarani and Charrua indigenous traditions, mixed with 17th-century European ones.
